In honor of the Foo Fighters' upcoming greatest hits album, this week brings a four-pack of songs including "Best of You" and "The Pretender". And since Nirvana's 1989 album Bleach turns 20 this week, let's throw in a three-pack from that album, featuring "About a Girl". And finally, there's a single from Joan Jett and the Blackhearts to appeal to everyone, since LEGO Rock Band finally hits stores this Tuesday. With these eight tracks, the Rock Band platform has finally eclipsed 900 songs in its library! Will we break 1,000 by the end of the year? Only time will tell. Just announced by the official Rock Band podcast are eleven songs coming to Rock Band this week, including tracks from Morningwood and Rob Zombie, as well as a five-pack from Wolfmother. (We also found out that the people at Harmonix are fantastic at Street Fighter IV, but that's best left to the podcast.) Alongside two tracks from Wolfmother's self-titled debut (including "Woman") are three songs from their upcoming album, Cosmic Egg. More details, including tracks and pricing, after the jump.

Next Tuesday is Rocktober 13th, which means the release of the highly-anticipated Brütal Legend is nigh. Rock Band players don't get to miss out on the fun: This week brings a three-pack of songs from the game's soundtrack, including the equally umlaut-laden Motörhead and more Tenacious D. Following that are two more songs from the Rock Band Unplugged tracklist (with blink-182's "What's My Age Again?"), two songs from guitar legend Joe Satriani, two live songs from Kansas, and a single from L7. This is a massive week for guitarists, so be sure to warm up your fingers by clicking through for the full track list and pricing.

As if today weren't already full of excellent DLC announcements, the Rock Band Zine just confirmed that a 10-pack of Queen songs will becoming to Rock Band on October 20th. While we don't know pricing just yet, the pack will include classic songs like "Fat Bottomed Girls", "Under Pressure", and "Another One Bites the Dust", as well as the Guitar Hero 1 gem "Killer Queen".
