Just announced by Rolling Stone for this week's Rock Band DLC: The Jimi Hendrix Experience's Axis: Bold as Love full album. Guitarists, get ready; you'll need every ounce of ability to make it through this one. And once you work through these 12 tracks (and the unearthed single, "Valleys of Neptune"), you won't be anywhere near finished. The Rolling Stone article announced Harmonix's plans to release Are You Experienced?, Electric Ladyland, and First Rays of the Rising Sun in conjunction with the official remasters. We might be looking at the first complete discography of an artist in Rock Band. But let's not get ahead of ourselves; hit the jump to find out the songs coming out this week.
Break out your torn jeans and rebellious attitude, because Rock Band's going 80s this week with a four-pack from punk legend X and a single from Ace Frehley. Starting Tuesday the 23rd, you'll be able to play "Los Angeles", straight off the Guitar Hero: Rocks the 80s soundtrack, and three other X songs in X Pack 01. For the more modern among you, we'll also have three discount songs from Little Fish (including a free track, "Am I Crazy"), a single from OneRepublic, and a single from Carrie Underwood. More details, including tracks and pricing, after the jump.
