Talking Heads fans will enjoy this week as not 3 but 5 songs of theirs ill be coming to Rock Band.  In addition, singles from Rage Against the Machine, Oasis, The Jam, and Avenged Sevenfold will be available.

You might think that after providing a full album, a 3-song pack, and on-disc songs from his band Foo Fighters that Dave Grohl might be done with Rock Band.  You'd be wrong, of course, since next week brings a second 3-pack of Foo Fighter songs.

In addition to the Foo Fighters pack, there will be singles from Blind Melon, Eve 6, Dropkick Murphys, Kaiser Chiefs, and Blur to whet your appetite for alternative rock.

Next week, Gorillaz - the animated band led by Blur frontman Damon Albarn - makes their Rock Band debut with a trio of songs.  In addition to the Gorillaz pack, you can expect a quartet of 60s songs featuring live tracks from The Who and The Band along with music from Janis Joplin and Jefferson Airplane.

If you're a drummer, you might want to be on your toes this week: Spinal Tap is returning to Rock Band with Spinal Tap's Tap Ten. Featuring remastered classics and originals all off their latest album, Back From the Dead, the Tap Ten brings to Rock Band eleven songs ranging from "(Funky) Sex Farm" to "Big Bottom".
